Most Blessed Master Bless!

His Grace, Bishop Jonah is elected new Metropolitan
..................

Many Years, Master!

On Wednesday, November 12th, 2008, His Grace Jonah, newly consecrated Bishop of Fort Worth, Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of the South, (Nov 1st) was elected by the Holy Synod to be Primate the Orthodox Church in America. The faithful gathered at the 15th All American Council in Pittsburg, PA, elected His Grace, and this vote was mirrored by the Holy Synod, confirming Bishop Jonah as our new Metropolitan. He is now comemorated as His Beatitude Jonah, Archbishop of Washington and New York, Metropolitan of All America and Canada. We receive this news with great joy and we ask our Lord's loving guidance and choicest blessings on our new Arch-sheperd. God grant you many years, Vladykha!

Eis Polla Eti Dhespota!
